Meet our two experienced podiatrists, Stephanie and Catherine.
Originally from Launceston, Stephanie Jokuszies, graduated with Bachelor of Podiatry from the University of South Australia in 2000. Over the past 22 years, Steph has worked in Australia and overseas in both private and public settings. In 2016, Steph established Healthy Sole Podiatry.
Catherine Nicol graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry from La Trobe University in 2008. Since then, she has honed her skills working in both large multi-disciplinary and dedicated Podiatry clinics, across Victoria and Tasmania.
Our podiatrists are highly experienced in treating and diagnosing complex foot health conditions. We also treat common issues such as ingrown toenails, fungal nails, plantar warts and more.
Book a biomechanical assessment or gait analysis to assess the way you walk or run. Reduce pain while walking, improve running technique and recover faster from sports or other injuries.
If you have a recurring ingrown toenail, thickened or damaged nails, we may recommend nail surgery. Our podiatrists can conduct pain-free, full or partial toenail removal surgery to fix the problem.
Keryflex nail restorations can only be done by trained Keryflex podiatrists. We use thin layers of a polymer resin and special activators to create a durable, yet flexible artificial nail that lasts up to 3 months.
We use dry needling to target muscular tension, soft tissue problems, speed up recovery, enhance performance, relieve pain and improve mobility in the feet and lower limbs.
It is recommended that diabetics see a podiatrist at least once a year, to prevent foot complications. We work collaboratively with your doctor, providing a written report and advice on any ongoing referrals.
Children and their feet grow very quickly. Early assessment and intervention can be beneficial to prevent problems in the future. We help parents, babies, toddlers and school-age children.
Recovering from an ankle or knee injury? Our podiatrists can prescribe a rehabilitation program to reduce the chance of an injury recurring and can include flexibility, balance, stretching, and strengthening.
Warts on your feet are called plantar warts. We currently use topical treatments, in conjunction with taping and off-loading, to treat plantar warts.
Our NDIS podiatrists specialise in assessing and treating foot and lower limb conditions, tailored to address your unique needs, improving mobility and quality of life.
We are not a bulk-billing clinic, but we can process your Medicare rebate immediately during your visit via our HICAPS system. Save time contacting or visiting Medicare.
We provide Podiatry services to DVA Gold and White card holders. To be able to access podiatry, a DVA referral is required from your GP before your appointment.
